great location but noisy at night
The location was truly superb, just a short walk through a lovely churchyard! The terrace attached to my room offered a delightful ambiance, perfect for enjoying a drink in the evening. Crisp white sheets on a clean bed made for a comfortable night’s sleep. I also loved the stunning view of St Swithins Church from my room, which enhanced my overall experience.
Noise from the bar downstairs could be distracting.

The Superior Double Room was spacious and warm, with a cool view of St Swithins Church. I loved the unique character of the historic building, and the wooden double glazing added a special touch. The bed was comfy, but a bit on the hard side for my taste. Just a heads up, the wood creaked a lot when moving around, which could wake you up at night. Still, it had a great vibe for a cozy stay.
