Cozy atmosphere, really good breakfast options, and unique character in a historic building.

Walk from the train station, the location was particularly good and perfect. There was an attached restaurant nearby. We truly enjoyed king room in cj's bar. We had Wi-Fi, a TV set, and tea/coffee making equipment.

Tasteful historical furniture, historical building. Breakfast in the cafe, large selection, very nice staff.

The double room was cozy, but I could hear the bar noise outside.

Comfortable quiet unit with stand-alone tub and a wonderful bathroom plus a nice view. Brilliant food and cool drinks.

The location was perfect for exploring East Grinstead, just a minute's walk to quaint shops and good eateries. We had a lovely family stay with the kids in a bright, clean room that was cozy enough for a good night's sleep.

My wife says that noise control would improve our stay.

Gothic House Bed & Breakfast is a good spot with a charming superior double room with a romantic roll-top bath and a four-poster bed. The atmosphere was cozy, perfect for relaxation after a day exploring East Grinstead's quaint shops. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, getting each day off to a great start.

Cozy room, good staff, warm atmosphere with a lovely outdoor dining area available , making it ideal for a morning coffee while planning your day of exploration since the transportation hub is just 12 km away.

Gothic house bed & breakfast is a lovely spot. My room was clean, warm, and had a great view of the church. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to shops and cafes. The staff were friendly and efficient.

great location but noisy at night

The location was superb, just a short walk through a lovely churchyard! The terrace attached to my room offered a good ambiance, perfect for enjoying a drink in the evening. Crisp white sheets on a clean bed made for a comfortable night's sleep. I also loved the fine view of St Swithins Church from my room, which enhanced my overall experience.

Noise from the bar downstairs could be distracting.

The warm welcome and really good breakfast. The rear terrace was perfect for morning coffee, and the location was stellar for early starts. Staff was always accommodating and friendly!

The bathroom door stuck a bit, annoying at night.

The Superior Double Room was spacious and warm, with a cool view of St Swithins Church. I loved the unique character of the historic building, and the wooden double glazing added a special touch. The bed was comfy, but a bit on the hard side for my taste. Just a heads up, the wood creaked a lot when moving around, which could wake you up at night. Still, it had a great vibe for a cozy stay.

It was just a great fit for a short stayover in East Grinstead with best value for money ratio. The staff were helpful and made us feel welcome . Make sure to check parking options in advance as it isn't available onsite.
